Job Title: PHP and XML Developer

Employed as an XML developer, with the initial focus of the job being to create a set of converters from some of the most popular property feeds into a standard feed.

The company website had been outsourced however, following problems and delays with the development, this was brought back in house and I took over the programming. This involved working with a dedicated team of staff, planning timescales and setting targets in order to produce the completed website and keep to the tight deadlines. Despite the company's initial fears that the website would not be completed on time, we produced a workable site ready for the planned launch and I continued to work on its development up until I left the company to work as a freelance programmer. During my time with the company I also carried out SEO work on the website both prior to and after its launch in order to maintain and improve the website rankings.

Job Title: Software Engineer

After graduating from university I began work as a LAMP Developer for Lottery24. Initially I worked on individual projects and over time progressed to supervising and training new programming staff, working on affiliate software, log banner impressions and click thru rates.

While deputizing for the Software Manager I liaised with the CEO, supervised sales staff and translators ensuring the smooth running of the website.
