Holiday Rentals - Spain

Task: Online Enquiry and Reservation System

This project involved creating a system which automated the reservation and booking area of the business. In addition a CRM system was built for maintaining client and holiday information.

Todays website has advanced since then and features live availability calendars, enquiry and booking forms, a CMS for page creation and update, as well as currency conversion and SEO improvements, and more recently has been upgraded to a multi language site.

Task: Rapid deployment of new holiday website

The owners of the El Roble Holidays website, which offers Spanish holidays, branched out to offer holidays in the UK as well. They contracted us to provide a second website for the UK holidays which although it should keep a similar style to retain the company branding, it must have its own identity. The CRM and CMS systems from El Roble Holidays were mirrored on the new Chester website.

Task: Newly created site required SEO work

This site had been developed without any thought to SEO and required optimisation prior to its launch, in order that it could start with the best opportunity to succeed. Work was carried out to improve HTML validation, key tags (headings, keywords, titles), and content optimisation to improve keyword density.

A local marketing business contacted me to build a membership site, allowing paid members to receive exclusive deals with selected hotels around the world. Prospective members can pay online, and all payments are processed by a well known payment gateway.

After a recent relaunch of the Prime Locations website, some further development work was required to complete the site and add additional content. In addition work was undertaken to improve the mailer functions and management interface to give more control of the site to the client.

This client contacted me asking for a simple four page website to promote his company. The site was given a basic SEO review to allow good search result listings. The design of the site was created based on the clients very specific set of colours.

Task: "Heart" Showcase

A designer in the UK contracted me to carry out the PHP/MySQL coding of a new teenage website. The website was targeted at 13 - 17 year olds and allowed the users to create graphics using a java applet, these graphics were then showcased on the home page and were searchable using a set of tags specified by the user.

Task: Product Showcase

A swimming pool contractor required a new website to showcase the swimming pools they had created. This will soon be available in 6 languages, with each language receiving dedicated attention for SEO purposes. The copy(text) for this website was created based on outlined ideas by the business.

Client side scripting has been used to allow the user to see larger images from a selection of thumbnail photographs taken of the pool.

This was a static content site that required the creation of a contact form to allow viewers to request tickets and event information.

Custom Captcha

Task: Eliminate/Reduce spam being received through a contact form

This company was experiencing a large volume of spam being received through a contact form on their website, they contracted us to find a solution to this problem and to stop it from occurring. We created an image based "Captcha" system which required human interaction for the form to be submitted. We styled the custom Captcha to match the existing design of the site.

Task: Easy to use CMS

The R & M Systems website was developed to showcase the work of a local builder. The site allowed updates to the pages by the client using a micro-CMS, focusing on photographs and a snippet of text to describe the task.
